Bartlesville Community and Family Dance

We started this dance in 2006, so that people in Bartlesville, Oklahoma could come dance with no lessons, no experience, no partner, no money, and no need to drive an hour to Tulsa (and back)! All ages are welcome (but 8-80 work out the best). Our dances come from many world traditions.  All dances are taught and prompted and we have a very high tolerance for mistakes, wrong turns, and general goof-ups! Having a good time is much more important than getting the steps right. The church where we meet has a lovely wooden floor and airy open-beam ceiling (and ceiling fans!). We do have a donation basket by the entrance and all donations are given to the church to defray the costs of electricity for heat and air conditioning.

Most months, we meet on the 4th Tuesday, from 7:30-9:30 pm. We meet at the Unitarian Church at 428 So. Seneca (corner of 5th & Seneca).  It's a block north of Adams and about 5 blocks or so east of the Caney River. If coming from Adams, cul-de-sacs will force you to use either Choctaw or Quapaw to get to 5th.

It's a good idea to call first to make sure we are meeting, as there are occasional exceptions to this schedule.  918-335-5908
